God Cares When His Children Travel!

On March 28-29th, 2014, My sister and I traveled to Edmonton to shop at Ikea for our church nursery.

It was a lot of fun!  It started out with my hatch throwing faulty signals which could have killed my battery if it was not fixed since the interior lights were remaining on.  I said that we should stop at the garage before proceeding to leave town.  My sister suggested that we pray about it and so we did and the hatch was fixed on the way to the garage and there was no need to stop... haven't had a problem with the hatch since!  Thank you God!!

We dropped of my neices and my nephew at our parents home and then headed onto the road.  I felt like we should just talk to God and so we did.  One of the things that I talked to God about was I wanted him to extend our gas mileage beyond what my vehicle had ever got before.  And guess what... He granted that request!  It was amazing.  And on the way home our gas mileage was better than going there even with a car load from Ikea!  My sister made the comment on the way back that we probably were getting incredible gas mileage because of the majority of the drive being highway driving.  Shortly after this comment another route appeared on google maps which appeared to be shorter.... so we took it... guess what?  It was all gravel roads, not even secondary highway!  So God got all the glory!!

I love when God prompts me to ask for things like that because I know that he will do it and I just get to sit back and enjoy the gift :-)
