Be In Health

September in Calgary, AB I attended a Be In Health conference.  These are some of the highlights & tidbits that I came away with from this weekend.  My favorite thing that I brought back with me was my Large print Sword Bible.  It will be well used and loved for years to come.

These are the views of Henry Wright.  Some of which I agree with and some of which I would question His interpretation.

Thursday-

80% of incurable disease has a spiritual root such as bitterness, fear, occultism, rejection etc.

Spiritual roots cause a breakdown to your relationship with yourself, others or God
Starts in spirit and impacts your soul and body

Perfect love casts out fear and has huge healing power.

God's will is that we are healed, His perfect will is that you don't get sick.

God can't get the glory from sickness... He is only glorified when you are healed.

Phileo love is fickle (love-hate relationships)

Agapeo love is unconditional (from God)

Your enemy has a spiritual problem - help them get free from bondage of the enemy.  When that bondage is gone they will be great people.

God-Jesus-Husband-Wife-Children

God designed it so that daughters would get a double portion of love from God and husband and Father.  

Men need to love their wives from their spirit's (agapeo love)

Then women will be who God wanted them to be

When our children leave home they become more our brother's and sister's in Christ than our son's and daughter's so that they are able to leave and cleave.

Get to know the scriptures and line yourself up with them.

Unforgiveness is the #1 block to healing

Friday - 

Spirit- Soul- Body are connected

Fear= stress and anxiety

negative emotions= spiritual root

Righteousness=the way that God would speak, think or act

A dead work is anything that you would say, speak or do that is not what God would do.  it works opposite to God's character.

Sometimes the enemy has deceived us and taught us so well how to think that he can leave us alone and we self-destruct

Thoughts come from 3 places - God, Myself and Satan

Satan speaks in first person - as if it is your thought - he is a lier

Thinking a thought doesn't equal sin.

Take every thought captive - if a thought doesn't line up with the word of God - cast it out (it doesn't matter if it is your thought or from Satan)

There is no such thing as incurable - that glorifies Satan

Envy and jealousy causes rotting in the bones

24 A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. 25 Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth. 26 Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. A person has to recover themselves out of that snare

7 steps to sin

Temptation - Drawn away - Lust - Enticed - Lust has conceived - Sin (the act) - death (premature)

Allergies - Coming into agreement with fear

the enemy is trying to separate you from others and from God

When you go into fight or flight continually because of fear, down at the root, your immune system gets destroyed

As your immune system is weakened your b cell activity is increased and destroys your immune system

You need to stop b cell activity.  

you need to treat the root

Hypothalamus gland is extremely sensitive to spiritual and emotional stimuli

it goes off when it senses fear - it cannot think - it automatically reacts even when there is no real danger attached to the stress, fear or anxiety.

this release affects almost every area of your physical body and changes your chemical make-up.  Your body is not made to run in overdrive ALL THE TIME.  It doesn't know if the fear is real or imagined.

High blood pressure - stroke- back pain-tension-auto immune-irritable bowel-ulcers-eczema-dry skin-acne-diabetes-lack of period-fatigue-over eating-insomnia-many more...

Letting fear come and not taking those thoughts captive.

Don't worry about kids, money or future (worry is a sin).  If you live in righteousness chances are 1 million to 1 to get cancer if your immune system is strong.  Do what is right.

It is not scriptural to think that God needs disease to bring you closer to Him.

He taught-He healed-They followed Him.

We are called to do greater works than Jesus did

Matthew 10 and Luke 9 

Signs and wonders ministry

the growth in the early church was accredited to healing and casting out devils

They mostly evangelized one on one

People were attracted to healing and deliverance then to Christianity.  Signs and wonders is how Christianity grew for300 years.  

Faith rests in the Power of God and the Holy Spirit

Father (Thought) - Son (Word) - Holy Spirit (Power)

God is interested in every part of your life if you will only ask Him for help.

Make fear your enemy

It is not acceptable to explain away scripture to match our experience

Spirits of unforgiveness - unforgiveness-resentment-retaliation-anger-hatred-violence-murder-gossip

50% of incurable diseases root in bitterness

unforgiveness & bitterness can result in unanswered prayer - torment-fear-rejection-guilt-record of wrongs build-disease

whenever there is an offense go to that person first whether it is your fault or the other person's.

Forgive and release the other person.  

Spirit of forgiveness makes you want to run to others and make things right

Personality surveys define you according to your sin.

Our identity is in Jesus Christ.

Choose what kingdom you are going to serve.

Isaiah 1:18 & Psalms 51:7 - once you have repented you are as a virgin - white as snow

Repent & TURN, don't stay in sin.

A Valley of Dry Bones

They were scattered everywhere across the ground and were completely dried out. 3 Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?”

“O Sovereign Lord,” I replied, “you alone know the answer to that.”
4 Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Look! Agapeo Love

Do I Agapeo God?

Agapeo love - esteem, to love indicating a direction of will, to find one's joy in someone or something with their best interest in mind.  Unconditional

1.  Does God regularly circulate in my thoughts? (Psalms 63:6)

2.  Am I often drawn to spend time with Him?

3.  Does my life demonstrate a love for God? (Romans 5:8)

4.  Do I often enjoy God? (Psalms 16:11)

5.  Do I find relief or satisfaction in the obedient life? (Psalms 51:8)

Agapeos always originates with God (1 John 4:7)

God gives any believer anything they ask for in His will.

YOu can ask for Agapeos love.  Give me a heart that loves you above all else.  Offer God an undivided heart.  "Cause me to love you"

I believe...

     I believe that what I need is a miracle NOT a healing.  I believe that God is fully capable of both healing and miracles and that he still gives out both today.

     I believe that God has told me to expect to receive the miracle of a full voice and epiglottis muscle this side of heaven.

     I believe that sickness and disease are caused by a lack of a full relationship with our God.  A full relationship should include prayer to God the Father.  Reading the word to develop a relationship with and get to know Jesus and making time to listen to and obey the Holy Spirit's voice.

     Prayer, reading/meditating on God's word, and listening to and obeying God's voice through the Holy Spirit and by His Power EVERYDAY is the only way to live in the fullness of the abundant life that God wants us to have.

     I believe that for most healing.  God requires sanctification on our part.  Although he is not limited to healing only those that seek to be sanctified by Him and for His purpose.

     I believe that instant healing's are miracles.

     I believe that complete restoration of my voice and epiglottis muscle will happen the moment that both Brent and I are ready to handle the responsibility that will come along with that miracle.

    I believe that both Brent and I are being prepared for such a time, which is not too far away.

Engage in the Battle - Don't Run Away!

The Bible does not say to run away from the enemy - we have no armor on our back!  Don't run from the enemy, don't hide from disease.  We are to take up our spiritual armor and engage in the spiritual war.  The worst that can happen is that you die and go to heaven.

God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

God will give us Wisdom and Knowledge if we ask Him for it.

I am on a healing journey to discover all that God would have me know about healing.  I feel like I am on this journey of discovery not only to be healed myself but to see others healed.  God is preparing me for this work and I feel that it is very near.

Conviction from the Holy Spirit will help you discern between good and evil.  All Conviction is from God and it will cause you to turn and face the problem.  All condemnation is from Satan and it will cause you to run from the problem or hide in fear.

Power that comes from the Holy Spirit, Love that comes from God the Father and a sound mind which is the Word of God who is Christ Jesus.

Three rood causes of disease according to Henry Wright are:
1.  Separation from God and His word, His person and His love

2.  Separation from yourself - not accepting yourself, not loving yourself, guilt and condemnation.

3.  Separation from others - breaches in relationships, hatred, bitterness, envy, jealousy, competition, performance, driveness, lack of nurturing, lack of love, and on and on the list goes

I believe that each one of these can be roadblocks to receiving healing from God as they can hinder your faith.

The beginning of healing is restoration.
-with God (in line with)
-with yourself (acceptance)
-with others (peace)

If someone is holding a sin against you, it is their problem, not yours.  They have to get it right before God just like you do.

Forget the past
Forget the future
Let God be God today in your life

James 5:16
Our homes should be homes of refuge for our familes and ones of peace.

Our enemies are: Fear, Self-Hatred, Guilt, Rage, Resentment, Condemnation, Denial, Bitterness, Anger

Bitterness has 7 spirits under it that reinforce that bitterness:
1.  Unforgiveness (Hebrews 12:15) - Keeping a record of wrongs
2.  Resentment  - Meditating on the record of wrongs
3.  Retaliation - Pay back for the wrong
4.  Anger - Feelings of anger build up
5.  Hatred - Meditating on all of the above
6.  Violence - Wanting them to feel your pain from anger and hatred.
7.  Murder - Physical or Character assasination - The final fruit of bitterness.

When ever we hate someone, gossip about them or slander them we are being used as a channel for Satan's work!

Guard against fear and bitterness

Jesus set the pattern of ministry - teach, preach, heal every sickness and disease and cast out evil spirits.

Faith is God's future for you  - Fear is Satan's destruction of your faith and ultimately your future.

When you watch or listen to certain things you open your spirit up to the spirits of fear, anxiety, torment, tragedy and horror.  You have a responsibility to guard your heart.  When you watch sin on TV or listen to it on the radio and don't turn it off you are condoning it.  You are an accessory to evil.  You are desensitizing yourself to the spirit of God and condoning evil in your heart.

We are supposed to be establishing righteousness in the earth not enthroning evil.

Jesus said that we would do GREATER things than he did with the help of the Holy Spirit (John 14:12-14)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Long term fear, anxiety and stress can destroy your immune system.

Take your every thought captive for Christ

Stay in Prayer - Stay in the Word, Learn the Word, Study the Word, Be led by the Spirit how He wants you to study, Study in the area you struggle with.

Several times this week as well as last I have had strange squeaks escape my mouth.  Very strange...almost like an old violin being dusted off and beginning to play.

I thank God for these moments- however brief they may be - of encouragment to press on til He has completed what He started in me.

Today I decided that if I am reading and it is pointed out to me that I am to deal with something then I will put down the book or quit what I am doing and deal with it right then and there instead of resolving to do it later and forgeting what it was or never getting around to it at all.

SAY IT NOW!

You are bought with the most valuable blook of Jesus Christ.  Jesus sees a kingdom ruler in me!  My body belongs to Jesus not to me.  We were kidnapped/sold by/to Satan.  The ransom has been paid in full and we have been bought back!

Claiming God's Promises

     Scriptural faith is a condition of the heart, not the mind.  It is in the present, not the future.  It produces a postive change in our behavior and experience.  It is based solely on God's word, and accepts the testimony of the senses only when it agrees with the testimony of God's word.  It is expressed by confession with the mouth.

     Faith of this kind is the only basis of righteousness acceptable to God, and it must direct and control the entire course of the believer's life.

Claiming God's Promises:
1.  Locate promise that fits your particular need
2.  Meet all conditions attached to that particular promise
3.  Claim the fulfillment of the promise by positive active faith.

Look What the God of Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Issac & Elizabeth has done!!
-Protected me when I was 8 hours old
-provided oxygen and protected my brain when I was 15 months old and again did not allow me to die while I was struggling to breath
-Protected me through everytime I went under anesthetic for both minor and major surgeries.  Too many times to count
-God kept my family together and in His sight
-He remembered me as a teen and allowed me to stray on my own will and then graciously said "that is enough" by opening up my spiritual eyes to the spirit realm.  After seeing the dark spirits in my room and speaking against them I knew following God was an active choice each day.
-God presents blessings and curses.  Life and death.  Now choose life so that you may live the abundant life.
-He choses a great husband for me.  He is willing to be corrected and be brought back to God's word by a woman.  Always faithful to me.  Open to the spirit working with great measure in his life.

Given Scriptures

"A Christian who does not realize that he needs a greater degree of submission to God and more prompt obedience is on dangerous ground."

Lack of submission and lack of prompt obedience block our complete victory.

Impure thoughts often come from the mind of Satan:

Worry

Complaining

Evil thoughts

Anger

Harshness

Suspicion

Irritability

Critical Spirit

Spirit of Revenge

Fear

Grief

Contention

Impatience

Sensitiveness

Pride

Frustration

Heresy

Conceit

Jealousy

Among Others.

These are red flags that we need to be aware and capture those thoughts into obedience to Christ and His scriptures.

How to Resist Satan

When a friend cares enough to seek God on your behalf it is certainly sweet and precious time.

I will both lay down in peace, and sleep: for you, Lord, only make me dwell in safety.

How to resist Satan:
with a steadfast faith which calls for a close walk with God and by faith, a constant close adhereance to His word.
