Engage in the Battle - Don't Run Away!

The Bible does not say to run away from the enemy - we have no armor on our back!  Don't run from the enemy, don't hide from disease.  We are to take up our spiritual armor and engage in the spiritual war.  The worst that can happen is that you die and go to heaven.

God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

God will give us Wisdom and Knowledge if we ask Him for it.

I am on a healing journey to discover all that God would have me know about healing.  I feel like I am on this journey of discovery not only to be healed myself but to see others healed.  God is preparing me for this work and I feel that it is very near.

Conviction from the Holy Spirit will help you discern between good and evil.  All Conviction is from God and it will cause you to turn and face the problem.  All condemnation is from Satan and it will cause you to run from the problem or hide in fear.

Power that comes from the Holy Spirit, Love that comes from God the Father and a sound mind which is the Word of God who is Christ Jesus.

Three rood causes of disease according to Henry Wright are:
1.  Separation from God and His word, His person and His love

2.  Separation from yourself - not accepting yourself, not loving yourself, guilt and condemnation.

3.  Separation from others - breaches in relationships, hatred, bitterness, envy, jealousy, competition, performance, driveness, lack of nurturing, lack of love, and on and on the list goes

I believe that each one of these can be roadblocks to receiving healing from God as they can hinder your faith.

The beginning of healing is restoration.
-with God (in line with)
-with yourself (acceptance)
-with others (peace)

If someone is holding a sin against you, it is their problem, not yours.  They have to get it right before God just like you do.

James 5:16
Our homes should be homes of refuge for our familes and ones of peace.

Our enemies are: Fear, Self-Hatred, Guilt, Rage, Resentment, Condemnation, Denial, Bitterness, Anger

Bitterness has 7 spirits under it that reinforce that bitterness:
1.  Unforgiveness (Hebrews 12:15) - Keeping a record of wrongs
2.  Resentment  - Meditating on the record of wrongs
3.  Retaliation - Pay back for the wrong
4.  Anger - Feelings of anger build up
5.  Hatred - Meditating on all of the above
6.  Violence - Wanting them to feel your pain from anger and hatred.
7.  Murder - Physical or Character assasination - The final fruit of bitterness.

When ever we hate someone, gossip about them or slander them we are being used as a channel for Satan's work!

Guard against fear and bitterness

Jesus set the pattern of ministry - teach, preach, heal every sickness and disease and cast out evil spirits.

Faith is God's future for you  - Fear is Satan's destruction of your faith and ultimately your future.

When you watch or listen to certain things you open your spirit up to the spirits of fear, anxiety, torment, tragedy and horror.  You have a responsibility to guard your heart.  When you watch sin on TV or listen to it on the radio and don't turn it off you are condoning it.  You are an accessory to evil.  You are desensitizing yourself to the spirit of God and condoning evil in your heart.

We are supposed to be establishing righteousness in the earth not enthroning evil.

Jesus said that we would do GREATER things than he did with the help of the Holy Spirit (John 14:12-14)

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Long term fear, anxiety and stress can destroy your immune system.

Take your every thought captive for Christ

Stay in Prayer - Stay in the Word, Learn the Word, Study the Word, Be led by the Spirit how He wants you to study, Study in the area you struggle with.
