This account is amazing! My neice, Cassidy(4 years old), fell in our home (we have concrete floors) and hurt her arm. She was crying and holding it so she sat on her mom's lap. My aunt was also here. After a while it was clear that it was a bit more serious than just a bump. She wasn't moving the arm and didn't want anyone to touch it either. My sister asked if I would pray for it. I gently layed my hands on her arm and began to pray. Part way through Cassidy rather forcefully with her other hand shoved my hands away.
I offered chocolate but they melted in Cassidy's hand so they were put into the fridge. It has to be pretty serious for Cassidy to not eat chocolate! I then put on a movie for Cassidy to watch. During the movie I was listening pretty closely to see what the Holy Spirit would reveal to me about the situation. I felt a nudge a couple of times to go and talk with Cassidy about God's love and about Jesus loving her and wanting to heal her arm. Which I did each time. After the movie was over Cassidy went to get up and bumped her arm and began to cry again. Kendra asked me what I thought we should do... I felt like we should give Cassidy a choice. So Kendra asked Cassidy "would you like to go to the doctor to be healed or would you like Jesus to heal you?" Cassidy said "I want Jesus to heal me". Within a couple of minutes (if that) she was bouncing on that arm deliberately... showing off what Jesus had done! It was amazing to watch how giddy she was about it even into the following days!
Praise God! He is good all the time!
