Promises for my Children

These are scriptures that were given to me by my Aunt Caron for my children.

Isaiah 54:13

13 I will teach all your children,
and they will enjoy great peace.

Deuteronomy 30:6

“The Lord your God will change your heart[a] and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!

Deuteronomy 7:9

Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.

Acts 16:31

31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”

Isaiah 49:25

25 But the Lord says,
“The captives of warriors will be released,
and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved.
For I will fight those who fight you,
and I will save your children.

Isaiah 44:3-4

For I will pour out water to quench your thirst
and to irrigate your parched fields.
And I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants,
and my blessing on your children.
They will thrive like watered grass,
    like willows on a riverbank.

Psalm 103:17

17 But the love of the Lord remains forever
    with those who fear him.
His salvation extends to the children’s children

Jeremiah 31:17

17 There is hope for your future,” says the Lord.
“Your children will come again to their own land.

Isaiah 59:21

21 “And this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit will not leave them, and neither will these words I have given you. They will be on your lips and on the lips of your children and your children’s children forever. I, the Lord, have spoken!

Deuteronomy 30:19-20

19 “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! 20 You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This[a] is the key to your life. And if you love and obey theLord, you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

Proverbs 14:26

26 Those who fear the Lord are secure;
he will be a refuge for their children.
